StorageBox is a self-storage provider, dealing with both business and household clients.
We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to support the working MD and assist with office and administrative duties. These are exciting times for StorageBox as we expand. We believe we have a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to work with a growing and dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have proven accounts experience and capability in managing the day to day bookkeeping for a small business in addition to providing ad hoc administrative support.
You should be comfortable working alone at an office. The role will report directly to the MD.

Key Responsibilities:
General Administration – Tasks Include:
- Managing the day to day obligations to suppliers and customers
- Processing bank deposits, managing and reconciling bank accounts
- Reconciling financial statements
- Preparing, reconciling, processing and distribution of invoices
- Reaching out to clients and sending reminders to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Preparing VAT and statutory returns
- Updating and maintaining the accounts system, ensuring the accurate processing of all financial transactions
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the MD
Competencies and Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience working in an office environment necessary
- Personable, honest, diligent and hardworking
- Efficient, highly organised and pays attention to detail
- Flexible approach to all areas of the role
- Good IT skills. Experience in accounting packages, Thesaurus & Microsoft Office. (Xero an advantage)
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in small office environment
- The applicant must be reliable, punctual, have fluent English, be strong in arithmetic, a good phone manner and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to enthusiastically respond to enquiries
- Ability to work in a small team with a flexible approach
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
- Ability to work independently
- Must maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects
- Highly dependable
This role is a temporary full time role with possibility of becoming permanent. Monday to Friday 39 hour week.
Hourly Rate is negotiable dependant on experience.
