A Canadian family residing in Amsterdam is seeking a professional, fun, and energetic Governess to assist with the care and education of their 4-year-old daughter.

As a Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the girls, providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following an already established routine and schedule, and ensuring that she is reaching all age-appropriate milestones.
You will be required to work closely with the girl’s school, attend meetings with the teachers, and provide curriculum support to ensure she is reaching her full potential.
Additional duties include planning fun excursions on family trips, encouraging positive behaviours, and ensuring the girl has all she needs to grow and thrive.
The ideal candidate will be an educated Governess holding a teaching qualification (PGCE/MA/QTS or equivalent). Have experience working with gifted students and be able to encourage learning at every opportunity.
The working schedule will be working on rotation, working 2 weeks on/off providing working up from 3 pm — 7.30 pm.
This is a live-in/out position with a private room or apartment provided. Accommodation is only available for the working shift.
Return flights are provided at the start and end of each shift.
This position is only suitable to candidates holding a passport from an EU member.
The salary on offer is €250 per day. The daily rate is paid only for working days.
