The Product Owner (PO) strives to enable delightful digital experiences through good product. The primary role of a PO is to maximise the value of our self-service digital channel by championing the customer, representing the business value to the mobile squads, and translating technical complexity to the business, thus bridging the gap between strategy and reality.

The Product Owner is a key member of the agile team accountable for collaboratively defining stories and prioritising the team backlog to streamline execution, and promote continuous delivery, while maintaining the technical integrity of the Westpac’s digital channels.

They ensure quality stakeholder relationships, communicating (succinctly) and via multiple mediums, the roadmap, backlog, and key decisions to a diverse group of stakeholders and keeping them regularly informed.
