Job Purpose
Provide efficient picking of rounds in multi- temperature environments for next day delivery, checking quality of product to ensure customer satisfaction.
Fundamental Responsibilities and Duties
· Undertaking quality control inspections for any damage or defects, correct packaging, and best before/use by dates are upheld, ensuring customer expectations and company standards are maintained, and reporting any issues to the line manager in a timely manner to allow a resolution.
· Accurately selecting frozen products for each round using systems such as FIFO to fulfill their requirements.
· Safely using a range of warehouse equipment such as but not limited to, Forklift trucks, whilst always following health and safety guidelines to prevent any injury to staff or damage to company policy.
· Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment to prevent damage or injury to team members and complying with the companies’ high standards.
Skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 50 lbs, repetitive bending, standing for long periods of time)
Job Hours: 6pm - 3am
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.90 per hour
