About the role:
Do you have experience in building, labour work or other similar trades? Looking for a career change? This role might suit you! Reporting to the Sign Managers, your duties will include assisting with installs of signage, general labour duties and assisting the manufacturing team. The key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the signage installation team on site (including painting, cleaning, measuring and general labour work)
- Assisting the production of vinyl prints for various works including car wraps, commercial branding, signage etc.
- Assisting in the manufacturing of signage (frames, lightboxes etc.)
- Travel to sites independently to take measurements for quoting new works
- Operation of machinery such as commercial printers, CNC routers, laser cutters and general production tools.
- Liaise with customers and the internal team to produce quality outcomes
About you:
Are you a hands-on person who has an inclination for manufacturing? Want to learn some new skills in an interesting field? To be successful in this position, no prior knowledge or qualification in signwriting will be necessary, however a background in a trade will be beneficial. We are looking for a self-starter with great attention to detail and critical thinking skills. You’ll learn everything you need to know on the job, in a supportive team. The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- A good work ethic and determination to learn new skills
- Experience in operating power tools or machinery
- A strong dedication to quality work
- An honest and hard working approach
- The ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment
- A drivers license (forklift license will also be beneficial), and
- A customer focus with a can-do attitude

Salary: $42,312.97 – $60,000.00 per year
