Assignment description
Location: Södertälje (SE)
To ensure compliant and efficient accounting procedures we seek a Sr Accounting Specialist for Supervision and execution of operational accounting tasks, including:
- Support the established BPO in regional roll-out from an accounting perspective
- Concept and implement, together with the BPO, the Accounting processes to a higher automatization level
- Setup and perform an ICS based on TRATON’s control catalogue
- Supervision and sparring’s partner for BPO in day-to day questions (e.g. opening new G/L account, questions on data model, IFRS judgement etc.)
- Quality assurance for monthly closing incl. challenging & questions towards BPO
- Supervising dispute & claims mgmt.
- Supervising reconciliations (e.g. charging data to accounts reconciliation
- Assist in the Cash process/Treasury activities (clarify questions, follow-up on topics in the roll-out, cash planning, hedging etc.)
- Supervise the year end closing, perform statutory accounting together with BPO
- Be the expertise in Swedish GAAP & other external reporting
