Company Bookkeeper (Cork City)
We are currently recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper for our client, an established property company located in Cork City. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the business. The position will be based in the City Centre with parking included if required. This role is 5 days in the office, however some hybrid working may be made available post the initial settling in period.
Duties:
- Managing the monthly bank reconciliations.
- Use of Sage Payroll for wages and salaries.
- ROS / P.30 returns/ RCT/ VAT – filing of same.
- Generating service charges for properties.
- Dealing with Insurance renewals when required.
- Recording and maintaining rents are paid on time.
- Record and classify financial transactions accurately.
- Accounts Payable / Receivable, processing payments.
- Generate monthly financial reports.
- File Local Property Tax (LPT), ensure compliance.
Key Criteria:
- Strong Excel required.
- Min 2 to 3 years’ experience over seeing a busy accounts function.
- Experience with AP / AR / GL.
- Strong IT Skills- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Strong problem-solving skills
